Iwan Maktabi opens 2025 by launching four new collections. Launch spotlights Iwan Lab’s new creation and collaborations with Lebanese creatives Rabih Geha and Leila Jabre Jureidini.

Iwan Maktabi unveiled a limited-edition collection of hand-knotted carpets by Emirati artist Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim at Editions, Downtown Design. The collaboration transforms Ibrahim’s iconic abstract works into collectible carpets. Also showcased were pieces from regional talents such as Sultan Bin Fahad, Noor Al Suwaidi, as well as Lebanese renowned ceramists like Hala Matta, Minnie Tasso and Mary-lynn Massoud and Rasha Nawam.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of IWAN MAKTABI Flagship Store on Jumeirah Beach Road, Dubai. Spanning three floors, the space combines heritage with innovation, offering a home for antique carpets, contemporary designer collections, and creative collaborations. Designed by Dubai-based NOMADK, the gallery-style showroom seamlessly blends natural light and modern architecture to highlight the artistry of handmade rugs.
